Truro alone has grown ten times bigger in just 75 years

After growing organically to its natural riverside size (see blue outline on petition map) in 1,000 years, it's taken just 75 years to multiply its landmass by 10!!! Have jobs, births, hospital beds, school places, ambulances and police also grown ten (10) times in that period?!! This is what one petition supporter wrote about our head of planning: "I agree with everything you say. He is not the right person to be in this role. He spends hours of his day in meetings at his school academies where the planning applications for these schools sail through, with his signatures on them! You can't get hold of him at his day job as he is out at these schools? He is getting paid a very high wage for not doing his job and this allows him to concentrate on his academies! Spookily enough he got the bid on the new school at Carclaze,! The one that's just got planning for the new eco town.... it's all corrupt and back handers. Surely he should be declaring this interest!!! Time for change and hopefully honesty and transparency."
