We have 1,500 signatures in just under 16 days; that's really great, but is it enough?

Here's a line from a parish councillor near Redruth, last week: "South West Water, apparently the worst in the UK for Sewage Pollution!!!!!!!!! But we are told the system can cope!! Another 52,500 houses anyone???" Perhaps the planning department could respond to his justified concerns? We need 5,000 signatures for the council to consider our petition, so thank you all for signing, and could I now ask each one of you to convince two more people out there to sign too?
