We the undersigned believe that Coppell ISD’s decisions eliminating COVID contact tracing, parent notifications and appropriate monitoring, are an endangerment to our children and our community.  The Delta variant has proven to be dangerous and deadly for the unvaccinated.  We have unvaccinated children under 12 who we entrust Coppell ISD to protect during school hours. We expect that Coppell follow suit of neighboring school boards and reestablish appropriate COVID monitoring and masking guidelines to enable our community to work together to eliminate a rampant spread of COVID among children. We demand immediate action, prior to August 17th, and a review of all decisions in light of the rapidly changing environment and rising COVID counts.
