The selection series has had a dedicated fan base since it’s release a decade ago and since then we have been told numerous times that a movie or television adaptation will be coming soon and those promises have never been kept. Netflix announced that they would be going forward with the series and had completed a script in 2021 but ultimately scrapped it. Kiera Cass wrote herself that she was disappointed and apologized that we would not be rewarded for our years of love for the series. Netflix would have a gold mine with this series and it would be a boost to new viewership. My goal is to show Netflix that there is an audience for the series and that they should go forward with developing it or sell the rights to someone who actually will.
