Hey everyone, it’s Dylan here (the guy who started this petition back in 2024).

Can you believe it? February 4, 2027 — that’s only 10 months from today — and Manny, Sid, and Diego are coming back to theaters… but without the studio that actually created them. Blue Sky poured their hearts into every Ice Age movie for over 20 years, and now Disney is just moving on with a totally different team. It honestly makes me so frustrated because I grew up watching these films in Vancouver theaters and they still feel like home.

The franchise is clearly still making money, right? So why not let the original crew have a shot at the next one? Blue Sky’s animation style is what made the herd feel alive.

We’re sitting at only 124 signatures right now. That’s nothing compared to how many of us are still salty about the studio shutdown. If you loved the originals as much as I did, please sign and share this with your Ice Age group chats or family. Even if it’s just one friend.
