Many of my peers and I have invested countless hours in Ark: Survival Ascended, reveling in the thrill of building, battling, and surviving in a world that constantly challenges us. However, enthusiasm is waning. The few tribes that have managed to dominate the servers are so well-established that their defenses are nearly impenetrable. This leaves new and returning players in a frustrating position where starting afresh seems like an unattainable goal. As a result, many have given up, seeing no path to success or joy on these longstanding servers.

The introduction of the Lost Colony DLC presents the perfect opportunity for a fresh start. During the busy holiday season, when players are more active, a server wipe will level the playing field and allow both new and veteran players to engage meaningfully with the new content. A fresh wipe can rejuvenate interest, providing a clean slate that encourages competition and strategic play.

The current state of play is stagnant, with established tribes finding little excitement in facing the same handful of opponents. No clear victor emerges, and the endless cycle of raids achieves little. This stagnation is not the vibrant, competitive community that Ark should be. The barriers to entry for newcomers are too high, as they cannot hope to catch up with the resources and power amassed by entrenched tribes.

A server wipe with the launch of the Lost Colony DLC will invigorate the community, enabling fresh alliances and rivalries to form. It will provide fair opportunities for everyone to explore, build, and conquer in the spirit of Ark's intended gameplay.

I'm asking Daze to make this crucial decision for the future of the Ark: Survival Ascended community. This change would transform our interactions and create the dynamic battles we all seek.
