The YAI rally on May 8th has been postponed until the recent updates to the lease have been reviewed as they are the first updates in 2 years. 

Andres Vargas -  President of the Civic Assiciation that hosted the heated community meeting last May along with one of his Board members Monica Valdes - were both  thrown off the election ballot due to campaign related fraudulent activity - in Queens County Supreme Court earlier today and have been removed from the ballot as our District Leaders in this years election. Andres and Monica - along with Judy Ryan - who also serves as the secretary on Father Darrell DaCosta's Council at OLF - a major conflict of interest  - all colluded to try and stop the community from exposing the truths in the lease between YAI and OLF - which were exposed by Mike Pinto - who remained professional and to the point in spite of the melee  and chaotic scene which had many police officers called to. We will keep you updated as far as the  changes to the lease and decide if they are sufficient or not. To be continued.
