Last night, the Wakefield Conservation Commission voted unanimously to DENY the project! Thanks and kudos to them for doing the right thing.

This wise decision is based on the large volume of facts and evidence that demonstrate that there would be tremendous harm to the environment if the project is built up on the hilltop site.

We expect that the Voke team will appeal this to the DEP and we will keep you all apprised of what is going on with that.

For now, the forest and everything that lives in it has a reprieve. For now.
