Premier Susan Holt has suggested hesitation to continue with the Jail Project in the Municipality of Grand Lake.

If the Project isn't continued to completion then it will ultimately hurt not only the economy in this municipality but also cost the tax payers of New Brunswick more in the long run. The Project has already started and stopping and starting the project somewhere else will cost New Brunswick more.

There are many individuals in the area whom have already started the needed education for working in Correction Facility. Cancelling the Project would ultimately affect those individuals significantly. 

We ask that the Premier reconsider cancelling the project and continue with the work of the previous administration to bring the Jail to the Municipality of Grand Lake.
