Thanks for the coming generations, today we sign, it may change someone's life tomorrow or maybe your own child's. This is called solidarity that I learnt upon coming to France. Myself Swati, growing up in the capital city of India-Delhi, where the bureaucracy seemed easy, all the offices were available, Embassies etc. One phone call here, one contact there, work was done. Arriving in France, I learnt that it's hard work, real team work that matters and works. So I started working towards bringing the whole Indian community together in Toulouse as a group. We seemed scattered, but still I dreamt. My parents played an important role, sending me courage and strength for this project. My efforts saw their dream come true in 2018, MEA (late Ms Shushma Swaraj's office) called me from Delhi and accepted the request for a Consular Camp in Dec 2018, they saw that I was in close touch with the Indian embassy in Paris. Yes, I had lived in Paris for 4-5 years when I had built cultural and diplomatic relations with the Embassy officials, before moving to Toulouse. Everything seemed tough and far from Paris, no more easy paper work for an Indian or OCI (PIO at that time). Please share with other fellow Indians in Toulouse area for this collective, selfless support. Ham honge kamyaab ek din ! PLEASE LEAVE COMMENT - in "Comment section" about WHY you miss a regular consular service in Toulouse and what is the difficulty you are facing ?
