Year after year, countless SUNY Oswego students, professors, and faculty members face the hardship of battling heavy snowfall in our campus parking lots. This struggle not only poses a threat to personal safety, but also disrupts the smooth functioning of the academic environment. The lack of covered parking lot is a glaring gap in our campus amenities, a gap which needs to be addressed immediately. 
   This is not a matter of comfort and convenience, but a plea for the safety and well-being of those who tirelessly contribute to our campus every day. Therefore, we urge the campus authorities to construct covered parking lots to shield us from the heavy snowfall.
