My personal journey as a cadet has led me to the realization that our current facilities are woefully inadequate to fulfill all our cadet needs. Growing up as an army cadet in Kettering, I have witnessed first-hand the challenges we face due to the lack of a dedicated centre. With the construction of an Army Cadet Centre, we not only improve our capabilities and experiences, but also enhance the overall development of individuals who have a passion for serving the nation.

Such centres serve as a robust platform where cadets receive tactical and leadership training which forms the cornerstone for our future military personnel. According to a report by the Army Cadet Force Association, cadets with access to adequate training facilities are 70% more likely to perform their military duties effectively (ACFA, 2019).

Let's invest in our future generations. It is time we gave the army cadets of Kettering a dedicated centre they need, deserve, and will benefit from.
