Hi everyone - I received a response from Fantasy Forest Management and they gave me permission to share it with you all! I consider it a positive step, so hopefully this will reassure people moving forward that change is coming! Thanks to all that signed the letter and took part in the discussion over the past few days. While it's not an outright ban on Gen-AI, the necessity to label products using Gen-AI in the future will hopefully mean that people can make informed purchasing decisions, and possibly put off vendors/traders from selling Gen-AI products too. It's also positive to note that management has been discouraging it.

From Fantasy Forest Management:
Thank you for reaching out.
We are indeed aware of the concerns a part of our community has regarding generative AI at the festival. While admittingly, we do not have a firm Anti-AI policy in place, we have and will continue to discourage generative AI 'art' at the festival.
Several months ago, the EU passed a law requiring all AI generated image within the EU to be labeled as such.
We have been studying the contents of this legislation and are discussing with a trader focus group to see if something similar can already be implemented at Fantasy Forest 2027 in anticipation of similar legislation in the UK.
We hope this clarifies our policy on AI but if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out.'
