We’ve been taught to be afraid of all that we cannot see.

We’ve been taught to not look in the dark areas.

We’ve been taught to hide our pain, pretend that it doesn’t exist.

So we inflict it on others.

We are taught that we are weak when in pain.

So we become abusive to compensate for our “weakness”.

We control children as we attempt to control our own psyche.

We are enforcing violence in the name of “justice”, making obedience to authority a virtue.

It won’t change as long as we are looking the other way.

Μας έμαθαν να φοβόμαστε όσα δεν μπορούμε να δούμε.

Μας έμαθαν να μην κοιτάμε στα σκοτεινά μέρη.

Μας έμαθαν να κρύβουμε τον πόνο μας, προσποιούμενοι ότι δεν υπάρχει. Κι έτσι προκαλούμε πόνο στους άλλους για να αντισταθμίσουμε τον πόνο μας.

Μας έμαθαν ότι είμαστε αδύναμοι όταν πονάμε. Κι έτσι γινόμαστε χειριστικοί για να καλύψουμε την «αδυναμία» μας.

Ελέγχουμε τα παιδιά σε μια προσπάθεια να ελέγξουμε τη δική μας ψυχοσύνθεση.

Ασκούμε βία στο όνομα της «δικαιοσύνης», μετατρέποντας σε αρετή την υποταγή στην κάθε εξουσία.

Δεν θα αλλάξει όσο εμείς αρνούμαστε να το συνειδητοποιήσουμε.
