Hello community,

Today I had the opportunity to meet with Vicki Ward MP and Councillor Frances Eyre at Edendale Farm to discuss the proposal for a safe Pedestrian Rail Crossing from Coolabah Reserve to the Diamond Creek Trail at the Eltham North Adventure Playground. I am pleased to share that both are very eager for this proposal to succeed.

Vicki Ward has requested that I formally submit the petition and proposal to her for her to take to meetings with the Minister for Public and Active Transport in the coming weeks.

For the biggest impact, we need to this petition up over 500 signatures, and this is where you can help. This is not just for those living near Coolabah Reserve, reduced traffic on Main and Wattletree roads makes it easier for people from everywhere in Nillumbik to get where they need to go.
