If you want to see a perfect example of a Campus Kangaroo Court, you'll want to watch the 4-minute video of Alyssa Reid, former professor at James Madison University. Reid is the plaintiff in a recently filed lawsuit against JMU.

Reid was accused by her former female partner of a “non-consensual relationship," whatever that means. In the video, Alyssa Reid reveals,

• “When you’re accused of sexual misconduct, it’s fundamentally different. It’s something that critiques who the nature of who you are to your core, that sticks with you forever….JMU did not provide me with due process. It provided me with the illusion of due process….This hearing has ruined my life. This hearing ruined my dream. I have helped students find their place in the world. And the irony now is that I’m lost.”

With the Office for Civil Rights hearing coming up June 7-11 and impartial investigations at stake, this video is a definite game-changer.
