Remember the old saying, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste?"

One of our followers saw a media account about the local "Start By Believing" day in Utah. He sent us an email to explain what happened next....

• I contacted the mayor's office to express my dismay that they were participating in the event when as the administrative/sheriffs they were constitutionally required to not believe but to investigate. The response was "did you even listen to the sheriff that they are working on rape kits?"
• I replied "what does that even have to do with "believing" and not "investigating?" The woman replied "do you even understand what a rape kit is?"  The conversation devolved from there.

I'd like to encourage our other followers to contact SBB people in your area, and try to engage in a thoughtful discussion. Hopefully you'll have better luck than our Utah friend!
