The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was ratified 151 years ago today. The Amendment requires states to protect our individual rights and treat every person with dignity.

A key part of due process is the conduct of investigations that are impartial and fair. Which means no "starting with a presumption of merit" or any of that nonsense.
