Sometimes "victim-centered" investigative biases are so egregious, you have to wonder if they were high on drugs. Here's a recent example involving Syracuse University....
1. The accuser initially said the vaginal sex was consensual. Later, she said it wasn’t. So the investigator bizarrely concluded the accuser's testimony had no “contradictions or omissions.”
2. The investigator refused to consider contradictory statements by other students.
3. The investigation was conducted by a person who "has experience in all aspects of criminal/non-criminal" investigations, and was a well-known sexual-assault victim advocate.
HOW'S THAT FOR STACKING THE DECK AGAINST THE DEFENDANT?
No surprise, last week U.S. District Judge David Hurd slapped down Syracuse University and allowed the lawsuit by the accused to move forward: https://kcjohnson.files.wordpress.com/2019/05/syracuse-iii-mtd.pdf
