Continuing Our Efforts to #StopBullying
Apr 29, 2015 — Hello everyone!
Thank you again for all of your support, Angie and I are so grateful to have all of you behind us and to know that so many people are standing together to help protect our kids from senseless bullying.
For the past couple of months we have been working behind the scenes to fight for the passage of the Safe Schools Improvement Act, as well as the protection of statewide legislation. Our hope is to continue expanding our efforts and pushing for this legislation on the federal level.
In an effort to help achieve our goals, we’ve set up a crowdfunding page on Indiegogo to help raise funds to print banners and signs, fund events, and pay for materials that we can distribute to lawmakers. Every dollar raised will go directly to helping this fight, and we would be blessed and humbled if you would consider contributing. You can do so by clicking here: https://life.indiegogo.com/fundraisers/justice-for-angel/
We recognize that not everyone is in a position to contribute financially, but we hope that you can still spread the word about the petition to your family and friends to help build this movement even further.
We will be sending more updates in the days to come, but we wanted to let you know now that we will be hosting a digital Day of Action on Friday May 8th, where we ask our supporters to contact their Congressmen and Senators asking them to support the passage of the SSIA, and on Thursday May 14th we will be hosting a Twitter Rally, where we ask all of you to tweet a message to the committee in charge of voting on the bill all at the same time so we can show them how much support this legislation has.
We won’t stop until this is done, and as always, we are so grateful for your support.
Danielle & Angie
