1. Merry Christmas! Hopefully this would be the last Christmas Dustin spends away from his family and friends after 18 long years for a crime he did not commit, nor was he there for. Kind of makes it hard to commit a crime if you're at home while the crimes were being committed?!
2. And the Innocence Project is at it again. A branch that works with a college is looking into gathering the facts. Since Dustin's co-defendants know he was not there (and one or two may not even know him!) they could help shed a clearer picture of his innocence.
3. A generous benefactor has stepped forward to offer Dustin a possible chance at getting case reviewed by a lawyer. This lawyer could look at all the violations done to Dustin and with the case in general as it relates to Dustin so he can hopefully get some relief from the burden of an odius sentence.
