Condemn TheCut Magazine for Promoting Animal Abuse & Secure a Safe Home for Lucky the Cat

The Issue

As a dedicated cat owner and a firm believer in animal rights, my heart was heavy with sorrow when The Cut Magazine heartlessly promoted an article detailing and propagating animal abuse. Our pets, like my three rescue cats, are not just pets—they are family. And hearing about abuse directed at them, especially something that's celebrated in print, is unacceptable and against the basic principles of empathy and humanity.

The magazine not only chronicled the ill-treatment of a cat named Lucky but also subtly glorified the act. This recklessness promotes the normalization of animal cruelty, a grave issue that already sees approximately 1,000 cruelty or fighting cases reported each year in the U.S. alone. (Source: ASPCA)

This petition isn't just about holding The Cut accountable for their irresponsible reporting, but also about Lucky, who deserves a loving and secure home. We must together ensure that Lucky is rehomed and that the person who mistreated her is forbidden from adopting again.

The relationship between humans and pets is sacred, and it's about time we all did our part in preserving it. No animal, Lucky or otherwise, should be subjected to harm for amusement or any other motive. Let's take the first step by standing up to The Cut Magazine and advocating for Lucky's well-being. Please sign this petition and lend your voice to this vital cause.
