Recently, Carmen Ortega, an "influencer" and "model" went on a vile antisemitic rant on social media.  She posted to her Instagram and twitter accounts that Jews "own banks, they own the media, and in our politics heavy. Who's awake yet?"  She further shared a tweet by Candace Owens to her Instagram story, writing: "Who runs the banks? How many more times will I be right about these people?"  Lastly she commented "Have short version of the Talmud [a Jewish Religious text] just in case anyone has any more doubts. It's time to wake up baby. What's happening to Kanye is a direct example of everything. So when I'm always preaching stop voting pro-Israel."

Antisemitism is out of control in America.  Despite only being 1.2% of the population, Jews account for 58% of religiously motivated crimes in America.  Carmen Ortega's vile rants are perpetuating this and rants like these are directly connected to violence against Jews.
