The signatories of this petition ask "The Walt Disney Company" and "Lucasfilm Ltd. LLC" to ensure that the screenplays for the films "Star Wars: Episode X", "Star Wars: Episode XI" and "Star Wars: Episode XII" are fully written before filming begins on "Star Wars: Episode X".

They further ask that these screenplays be consistent with all canonical Star Wars works (films, video games, comics, books, TV series, etc.) released or published prior to the theatrical release of "Star Wars: Episode X" and that, for this purpose, a team be created and tasked exclusively with supporting the trilogy's screenwriters by identifying any potential issues of consistency with the canon.
