Send a screenshot to EA of you experiencing this fault, via one of their support channels (eg. email, live chat, support ticket, bug report). Make sure it shows the error message, and any other relevant information to prove your fault. 

Tell them that you expect compensation for the time lost from Early Access. Ideally in the form of FIFA points, packs, etc. and ask them to make a record of this request... then ask them again. Ask for email confirmation of their note on this.

Make your point and don't back down.

If you want a refund, then you should instead quote your statutory rights. Even if for whatever reason your game worked for a short while, and you managed to play a bit, you are STILL entitled to a refund. You have essentially paid for a broken product. EA's return policy does not override your own legal rights.

Along with the refund point: if you purchased on Steam, Epic Games or anywhere else, speak to the relevant company for a refund, and they should process one - However, you should still speak to EA support and do the above. They won't be able to process a refund for games not purchased on Origin, but this demand will improve your chances of in-game compensation.

 

ALL of this should help in two ways: 

1. It should get EA to hurry up and fix these issues ASAP for us.

2. And to help us receive something in return, i.e compensation
