The French Riviera Serbs would like to invite you to be the first and exclusive airlines proposing a direct flight from Belgrade (Serbia) to Nice (France).

We with our families are all travelling frequently to Serbia, meeting each other and numerous other Serbs on the different flights. We are very surprised that this line does not already exist, at least once or twice a week, in the beginning.

Belgrade with its 2 Million habitants is the traditional capital of the Balkans. The entire Yugoslavia was taking flights to the world starting from Belgrade. Travelers from Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia still do so, because there are frequent flights from Belgrade to Sarajevo, Tivat, Podgorica and Skopje. This presents thus completely new, virgin market with nearly 17 Million habitants. This market is much larger than the one of Budapest or Sophia (both capitals having direct flights to Nice).

Considering that Serbs have historical affinity towards France and high estimation of Nice as a tourist destination, the number of the flyers on the line Belgrade-Nice could very well surpass all estimations. The largest diaspora in Europe is the one from ex-Yugoslavia. All of its members spend their vacations in Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, using Belgrade as the flight destination. Many of them profit from the beaches of Montenegro, Croatia or Greece. In Montenegro, thanks also to the direct flights Belgrade-Tivat and Belgrade-Podgorica Serbian tourists present the vast majority. With the direct flight from Belgrade to Nice, Nice would certainly become new top-destination of the tourists from Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia.

After many years of crisis, economic activity in Serbia is experiencing growth, which is the strongest in IT and engineering. Many enterprises from Serbia have partnerships or regular business relations with enterprises in Sophia Antipolis (next to Nice). Their employees are, like us, obliged to change their flights in Munich, Frankfurt, Wien, Zurich, Rome and waste lots of time, energy and resources.

The purchasing power in the region has transformed. Privatization in Serbia created the elites, for which Nice would be destination of prestige. For the others, thousands of touristic rental apartments in Nice, would present an ideal option for holiday.

Many of us Serbs on Riviera work in the tourism. We confirm that there are already lots of guests from Serbia and other above mentioned countries. The majority of them still uses car to come to Nice, even though it is the most expensive and time-consuming. The direct line Belgrade-Nice would certainly augment the number of these guest’s manifolds.
