Hi everyone 

As many of you will have just found out through email, the planning application for the proposed Caravan Park has been refused by the council.

It has not been declined however the council decided that the proposal is against the rules of the Wyndham Planning Scheme Rules.

I was advised yesterday and told to hold off until the council communicated it, which they now have.

Thank you to the 627 people out there that supported in lodging an objection. Thank you also to those who gave up their time to work in more detail as part of a core working group. People power can make a difference.

The owner of the land can take the matter to VCAT if he wishes, I assure you that we will be there if he does with community funded legal representation, I hope he understands it will be a waste of his money and time to go down that path.

For now, I will keep the Facebook Group open in the event of any further changes.
