SNU women's soccer team made the decision to express their freedom of speech and kneeled during the national anthem. Since then, they have had multiple meetings with the administration. There have been speculations to potentially put a policy in place that would prohibit any student from kneeling or any other form of protest. Any policy that is set in place will include consequences, which go against our First Amendment rights.  

There is no current policy in place that prohibits a student from protesting and it needs to stay that way. This is where YOU come in. If you are a student-athlete on ANY team or a student. Sign this petition so that our administration understands how many individuals support kneeling or protesting of any kind. There is power in numbers, and we must prove that we have those numbers and will not rest until our voices are heard.
