Dear Prime Minister, Mr Anthony Albanese

I am writing to you today as a concerned non-Jewish citizen who is deeply troubled by the Bondi Beach massacre of Jews on 14/12/2025.

The Jewish population is facing daily discrimination, harassment, and violence and are now at risk of being killed simply because of their religious and cultural identity. This is not only unacceptable, but it also deeply impacts the ability of Jewish individuals and communities to thrive.

I stand firmly with the Jewish community, and together we demand change. It is time for a policy change. The Bondi shooting of Jews celebrating Hanukkah is not a gun problem, Mr Albanese, it is a radical Islamist problem.  Its time to call it out for what it is.

It is time for harsh punishments to be given to those who perpetuate the antisemitic narrative, including individuals, leaders, groups, organizations, corporations, schools, universities, and media outlets. The current lack of consequences for such actions is not only allowing hate to spread, but it is also sending a dangerous message that it is acceptable.

Furthermore, we demand that you take accountability for allowing antisemitism to fester in our country. This is a problem that requires your immediate attention and condemnation. We cannot sit idly by while the Jewish community lives in constant fear.

We demand that immigrants be heavily vetted and immigration laws be more strict in order to protect all citizens already living in Australia. 

We demand that radical Islamists, terrorists and Jihadists and their families be deported immediately.

We demand that antisemitic comments on social media be promptly removed. Social media platforms must take responsibility for ensuring their spaces do not serve as breeding grounds for hate.

In addition, we demand that the media portrays the truth about news in Israel and stops perpetuating false narratives that fuel antisemitism. We also demand that social media platforms stop silencing pro-Israel opinions and allow for open and respectful dialogue.

Finally, we demand that Jewish people are able to practice their faith and culture without fear of violence and hate. Every individual has the right to feel safe and accepted in their own community in Australia.

We urge you to take swift and decisive action in addressing this issue. It is crucial for the Jewish population to reside in a society where their rights and identity are valued and safeguarded, just like any other ethnic and religious group. It is our duty to stand against hate and violence and create a better future for all. Radical Islam and violence against Jews goes against our values as Australians and we the people will NOT tolerate it any longer.
