Are you aware of this fact: In 1894, Britishers had leased huge parcels of land in the heart of every major city to Christian Churches on a 99-year lease. In 1993, all these leases have expired.  Technically speaking, all that land now belongs to the Govt of India. 

It is time we should overthrow this Colonial Hegemony

Its high time that all this land is reclaimed by the Govt of India and used for developmental activities of the nation. It is noteworthy to mention that a very gigantic amount of rent is yet to be recovered from most of churches since 1993.  The amount of rent from 1993 also needs to be collected as arrears on a pro-rata basis. This will certainly help the govt to use resources properly and focus on health care of the people especially after the dreaded Covid 19.

Glaring Examples of Religious discrimination with the natives of this country : 1. The Woodlands Drive-in Restaurant in today's Chennai had a special place in every Tamilian’s heart. The hotel was taken back by Tamil Nadu government after lease expiry  - Court Order

 2. Anna Nagar Tower Club was also taken over by Chennai Corporation after the lease period was found to have expired.

These 2 cases made headlines in Times of India and "The Hindu" but the illegal occupation of the Cathedral (Lease Expired) just opposite The Woodland's Drive-in could never find a place in any of these sold-out media houses. 

The State Government has been selectively silent and has never made any attempt to reclaim such lands which are illegally occupied since 1993. No attempt has been made to recover RENTS since 1993.

There are thousands and thousands of Churches, Cathedrals and Christian Missionaries in India which are illegal occupant of several crore acres of Commercial Lands. The Government is silent on this highly critical issue. It is equally sad and shocking that the Judiciary also has not taken cognizance of such loot, plunder of national property. Are we still under the dominion of British Colonial Powers? Who hinders us to reclaim our National Property?

On the contrary, The Kerala High Court quashed a notification issued by the state government to initiate the process for acquiring 2,253 acres of rubber plantation in possession of the Believers' Church. The state government issued a notification paving the way for acquiring the Cheruvally Estate's land for the proposed Sabarimala airport in Kottayam district. The Church purchased the estate in 2005 from private owner Harrisons Malayalam Limited whom the government had given the land on lease for plantations

The State Governments (Land comes under State Govt's Revenue) on its part should send immediate notice to all such Churches, Cathedrals and Christian Missionary Institutions for their illegal occupation and get them vacated and also recover overdue RENTS from them.

If the churches cannot vacate. let them buy out the real estate properties – mostly prime properties of acres and acres worth thousands of crores by today’s standards – who is stopping them. Or let them pay the market rate as rentals and extend the lease by every 11 months as is normally done in India for any commercial lease. As of date. most of them are illegal occupants or squatters who can be vacated without a notice.

How was Hong Kong taken over by China? The British handed over Hong Kong in silver platter to China after the expiry of the lease period of 100 years. Now will BBC do a cover story on illegal occupation/squatting of churches and cathedrals for free in Indian metros and through out India.

We are well aware that the State Govt's will never initiate any action in view of their vested Political Interests. They are more interested in usurping Hindu Temple Properties. Revenue generated from Hindu Place of worship(Temples) goes to the Government Coffers, whereas billions and billions of revenue generated by Christian Missionaries, Churches, Masjids, Waqf Board are their ancestral property.

Let every single Indian share this information and let us make this a sensational INTERNATIONAL movement. Let us force them legally, vacate our homeland, pay the overdue RENT. It is high time the Churches and Madrasas in India are audited. Because they are the breeding grounds of Conversion Training Centers

Why Stalin, Vaiko, Seeman, Thirumurugan, the  Gandhis, are not asking for handover of Church lease to government? For their vested Political Interests only. So it is up to the Hindus to fight for their bona-fide rights, for their motherland  Every Hindu should make this a mission to publicize the news. Why is  none moving the court ?
