Masks should be mandated in Cobb County public schools under current high spread of Covid-19 virus per guidelines from CDC and county Public Health Department. We've seen the scary infection and deaths caused by Delta variant in India earlier in the year, and now a school in Atlanta Metro already had over 100 students and staff under quarantine only two days after school started. Now that most Covid cases in Cobb county are Delta variant, we urge public officials to adjust policies accordingly. The health of our children, teachers, and everyone in our community depends on proper policy.
