Z-30 Quik Trip Canton at Jamerson to be heard by PC Tuesday Nov 7 at 9 am

The photo above is on Powder Springs Street. Can you picture this on Canton at Jamerson? Next to Vespucci?
The QT application, delayed twice, will be heard next Tuesday by the Planning Commission at 9 am. The negotiation between the restaurant owners adjacent and the QT representatives is going down to the wire. This large corporation, with over 1,000 gas stations nationally, feels pretty confident that this will go their way. If it doesn't, they will sue Cobb County. Nice neighbors. As expected, they aren't doing much in the way of compromise, they want their 16 pumps and 2057 customers per day, the public and the local business owners be darned.
If you haven't already signed the petition, emailed Commissioner Birrell, or called her office 770-528-3318, please do so by Monday afternoon.
This is an intense use at an already busy intersection and it is too much gas station on too small a site. The big new Racetrac to the south is on 2.65 acres with three entrances. This application is applying to build on a 1.67 acre site with one right in right out on Jamerson, and a shared narrow entrance on Canton.
Their 2nd traffic study presented some questionable data, notably that no trucks whatsoever would visit the site.
