Each and every day, our amateur president holds a press conference under the guise of providing coronavirus task force updates to the American people. Every television news agency in this country broadcasts this "press conference" live. Anyone paying attention will notice that the actual covid-19 update information could be condensed into a two minute segment, and the rest of the hour is spent telling lies and spreading misinformation, along with the president forcing his underlings to extol the virtues of his leadership. Repeat a lie enough times, and it becomes the truth- and so this is the method by which Trump intends to dodge accountability for the train-wreck pandemic response by the federal government in the minds of the American voters. We ask that news organizations record this "press conference", edit it for actual factual information, and broadcast only that edited version. Giving this man billions of dollars worth of free, prime time airtime is how we end up with another four years of amateur hour in the oval office. There is absolutely no reason to give this man a platform from which to lie, with the exception of tradition. Please stop doing this.
