CNE Is Pricing Us Out - Lower Admission NOW

The Issue

We are longtime vendors at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), with our family proudly serving visitors for over 30 years. This year has been unlike any other. Sales have dropped to the lowest levels we have ever seen, and we are not alone. Vendors across the grounds are struggling, and many believe the main reason is clear: admission prices have become too expensive.

In 2025, a single adult ticket costs more than $30, and with taxes and fees a family of four pays over $100 just to walk through the gates. That is before food, rides, games or parking. For many working families, students, and seniors this is simply out of reach.

The CNE has always been a beloved Toronto tradition, a place where people of all backgrounds could gather, enjoy food, rides, and entertainment, and support local vendors. Rising admission costs are keeping people away, hurting families and small businesses, and putting the future of the Ex at risk.

We are calling on the Canadian National Exhibition Association to take action:

Lower general admission prices to make the CNE accessible again
Expand affordable ticketing options such as admission specials or discounted family days

The Ex has thrived for 145 years because it was built on community and accessibility. Let us keep it that way.
