Hello revolutionists,
We have achieved goal of our petition to shift IPL 2016 matches out of Maharashtra. Hon'ble Bombay High Court has directed BCCI to shift the matches to be held in May in view of severe drought condition in Maharashtra. The NGO Loksatta Movement that filed the PIL in High Court for this cause has confirmed that our petition receiving more than 50,000 supporters was quoted in the High Court in favor of our cause, which in my opinion, is a huge success for us.
However, this was only first step towards the larger cause of solving the drought condition in Maharashtra. Our petition has successfully created the awareness regarding preciousness of water in current situation.
I request you to save water on an individual level by cutting down the unnecessary wastage of water at your home, office, etc. At an individual level it would not make much difference but collectively, we 50,000 people can definitely make a difference.
I also request you to donate to Chief Minister Drought Relief Fund for our brothers and sisters in Maharashtra as per your ability and willingness. We 50,000 people can contribute over Rs. 1 crore even if donate Rs. 200 per person, for example.
I am sure you will do your best keeping in mind the woes of our brothers and sisters. Pray for them.
In view of decision of Hon'ble Bombay High Court, the petition is now inoperative. Thank you so much for your support.
