Working alongside women within front line services in Bedfordshire. I've witnessed numerous stories that are deeply unsettling. They're about individuals who have found themselves in compromised situations, sometimes coerced by manipulative partners into environments where they participate against their will. One such avenue is the platform 'Fab Swingers.' It has come to my attention that this site, publicly presented as a community for consenting adults, hides a darker reality for some participants.

Through my work, I've observed patterns of abusive and controlling behaviors that force individuals, particularly women, into non-consensual situations. These individuals are often stripped of their autonomy and are coerced into participating in activities they would never choose on their own.

There is compelling evidence to suggest that some members are indeed victims of coercive control. According to studies, about 1 in 4 women in the UK will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime, and many of these cases involve coercive control—a form of emotional abuse where the perpetrator restricts the victim's freedom and manipulates their life.

While the platform claims all interactions are consensual, the hidden pressure, intimidation, and relentless manipulation cannot be ignored. It's a distressing contradiction to the site's stated purpose, and action must be taken to safeguard vulnerable members.

This petition calls for the immediate closure of 'Fab Swingers' until thorough investigations can be conducted to ensure all interactions are genuinely consensual and free from coercion. This closure will send a strong message that platforms cannot operate without accountability, especially when there is even a slight possibility of abuse being perpetrated under the guise of adult freedom.
