***Stand With the People of Iran*** 
Close the Embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Europe

In recent weeks, the situation in Iran has deteriorated significantly, deeply affecting Iranians both inside the country and across the diaspora. Fundamental human rights are being systematically violated, and many citizens face repression, arbitrary arrests, and unfair trials. Independent journalism has been severely restricted, and countless people live in constant fear of state repression.

The European community can no longer remain passive in the face of these ongoing violations. Europe has long stood for human rights, freedom, and democratic values. At a time when these principles are under severe attack in Iran, a clear and decisive response is needed.

One concrete measure would be the closure of embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran across Europe. Such a step would send a strong political message that systematic human rights violations cannot continue without consequences.

In addition, there have been growing concerns in several European countries that Iranian diplomatic missions have been used to monitor, intimidate, or collect information on Iranian dissidents and activists living in Europe. Addressing these concerns is also a matter of protecting democratic societies and the safety of diaspora communities.

Closing these embassies would demonstrate solidarity with the people of Iran and reaffirm Europe’s commitment to defending human rights and democratic values. It would also increase diplomatic pressure on the authorities responsible for ongoing repression.

We call on the governments of European countries to take decisive action and seriously consider this measure.

سفارتخانه‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران در اروپا را ببندید

در هفته‌های اخیر، وضعیت در ایران به طور قابل توجهی رو به وخامت گذاشته است و ایرانیان را چه در داخل کشور و چه در سراسر کشورهای خارج از کشور عمیقاً تحت تأثیر قرار داده است. حقوق اساسی بشر به طور سیستماتیک نقض می‌شود و بسیاری از شهروندان با سرکوب، دستگیری‌های خودسرانه و محاکمه‌های ناعادلانه روبرو هستند. روزنامه‌نگاری مستقل به شدت محدود شده است و افراد بی‌شماری در ترس مداوم از سرکوب دولتی زندگی می‌کنند.

جامعه اروپا دیگر نمی‌تواند در مواجهه با این نقض‌های مداوم منفعل بماند. اروپا مدت‌هاست که از حقوق بشر، آزادی و ارزش‌های دموکراتیک حمایت می‌کند. در زمانی که این اصول در ایران به شدت مورد حمله قرار گرفته‌اند، پاسخی روشن و قاطع لازم است.

یک اقدام مشخص، تعطیلی سفارتخانه‌های جمهوری اسلامی ایران در سراسر اروپا خواهد بود. چنین اقدامی پیام سیاسی قوی‌ای ارسال می‌کند که نقض سیستماتیک حقوق بشر نمی‌تواند بدون عواقب ادامه یابد.

علاوه بر این، نگرانی‌های فزاینده‌ای در چندین کشور اروپایی وجود داشته است که از مأموریت‌های دیپلماتیک ایران برای نظارت، ارعاب یا جمع‌آوری اطلاعات در مورد مخالفان و فعالان ایرانی ساکن اروپا استفاده شده است. پرداختن به این نگرانی‌ها همچنین موضوع حفاظت از جوامع دموکراتیک و امنیت جوامع مهاجر است.

بستن این سفارتخانه‌ها، همبستگی با مردم ایران را نشان می‌دهد و تعهد اروپا به دفاع از حقوق بشر و ارزش‌های دموکراتیک را مجدداً تأیید می‌کند. همچنین فشار دیپلماتیک بر مقامات مسئول سرکوب‌های مداوم را افزایش می‌دهد.

ما از دولت‌های کشورهای اروپایی می‌خواهیم که اقدام قاطعی انجام دهند و این اقدام را به طور جدی بررسی کنند.
