My Son Robert attends both these services. Robert has Fragile X Syndrome and Autism and Severe Behaviour Problems. To close both these services would cause myself and his dad to struggle with all his needs. We have another son with the same conditions. The support both the Marquis Way Day Service and Blaydon Lodge Respite give is amazing. Both these services are outstanding in the care and support they give. They understand Robert even thou his behaviour is challenging. They understand Robert and understand all the disabled adults who attend these services.   To close these two services to us as parents and the service users would be soul destroying. These services are outstanding , unique , caring and really do provide excellent care to al the disabled adults who attend these services. I really do Fear for Roberts Future as at 25 he is settled and happy. We need BOTH these unique services to STAY OPEN
