Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to share with you the latest information/communication from Taylor Wimpey following TFAG's online meeting with them of 18th December. This is set out verbatim below, and addresses a number of the communications issues that we have criticized them for hitherto

-------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for time again on the 18th December.

As discussed here are the agreed follow-ups from our meeting

1.Taylor Wimpey will engage with this group a minimum of 3 weeks ahead of submitting a formal drainage strategy to the local authority.

2.This will include an initial meeting to run through the drainage strategy along with a follow-up meeting.

3.The drainage strategy will be accompanied by a flood risk assessment, this will include:-

A) impacts surrounding the site and also the discharge watercourse.

B) Any other impacts to the current approved scheme

4. On other outstanding conditions Taylor Wimpey will engage with the local authority and other relevant statutory bodies.

5. Taylor Wimpey will notify this group via email within 48 hours of a formal submission taking place to the local authority.

6. Taylor Wimpey will follow the environmental permit as required for the grouting works

7. Taylor Wimpey are currently reviewing site presentation and will revert back to this group shortly.

8. Taylor Wimpey confirm the scheme includes a play space and allotments.

9. Taylor Wimpey will direct our correspondence to Peter Boros as our main point of contact and Chairman of the Thames Farm Action Group unless otherwise agreed.

I would again apologise on behalf of Taylor Wimpy for not engaging with the local residents on the drainage strategy before our last submission.

We are currently working through the drainage solution options and therefore would suggest a follow-up meeting in February if that works for this group?

END

----------------------------------------------

Do get in touch with TFAG personnel if anyone has any comments to make regarding Taylor Wimpey's proposals.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Your voice is making a difference!
