Hi everyone, hope you are all fit and well in these very unusual times. Yesterday was a momentous day as we passed that magic number of 1,000 signatures of support on our petition! Pretty amazing for a tiny place such as Shiplake. 

So we have been busy letting the various decision makers know that, and pressing them for action. Taylor Wimpey have offered a discussion, the Parish Council are reviewing placing orders with our preferred firm of Engineers and also Solicitors, John Howell our MP is getting approval to a question in the House, and we wait to hear further from SODC. The EA have been in touch, and of course we know that the BBC South has now featured 3 locations where people have had to or are threatened with floods by developers.
