Well what a week last week was, and I hope you didn't mind my little joke on Friday. It really was my birthday!

So we have a Engineer and a Lawyer lined up, a Bank Account and lots and lots of pledges of cash, and we have had 3 letters and emails from the main board of Taylor Wimpey and also the regional MD. They haven't answered a single issue as yet and simply repeat the same old mantra about.....we care, we understand, we know how you must feel. Well do they? Do they really, what a lot of old cods wallop spin and words for the sake of words.....but nothing concrete (excuse the pun). And most recently the regional MD says that they will be writing to the whole village! So more words to come but will they actually mean anything at all?

I've also asked John Howell our MP if he could become more involved and take more of an interest by jumping in with both feet and truly representing us! I wonder what the outcome will be?

We now have 700 signatures on the petition and it's growing every hour, the local press are covering the issue more and more, and clearly we are worrying Taylor Wimpey having now gone more national with our campaign and also tweeted information to their main shareholders. These institutions who invest money on behalf of other just like all public companies hate bad press both direct and aimed at their investment cos.

Thank you so much for your support......and when Taylor Wimpey's advisors are quoted in the Henley Standard saying it's UNLIKELY that we will increase flooding, there is a simple response! Sorry but unlikely ain't good enough. It's your problem, don't try and pass it off to others!

Peter
