The cabinet set up a briefing for County Councillors about the schools consultation process, presentations from Jeremy Pattison (CEO) and "Slipery " Roberts both never going to communicate reality, Comments and questions from the floor were designed to bolster a failing cabinet, pretty pathetic. It demonstrated how we cannot rely on the cabinet listening to what they are being told by Gwernyfed HS, Brecon HS OR ANY OF THE OTHERS UNDER THREAT OF CLOSURE. I used to think the problems at the top of the local authority were just incompetence but so many deliberatley mis - leading statements have been made in the last year that it means it is more than a competence issue. The campaign team, school and governors are systematically dismantling the Powys Case and letters of support from people like yourself spelling out flaws as you see them are equally important.
