We are going to start a paper petition for those who do not have computer or prefer not to use them, to sit alongside the online version. Powys County Council have now made a bid to the Welsh Assembly Government for agreement to spend £20 million plus on the new build in Brecon but the authority has still not consulted Gwernyfed about any aspect of the plan, just informed them. There is a formal consultation planned for a 28 day period from 14 September after the main decisions are made, so really only going through the motions. Even that exercise will NOT include a face to face discussion between cabinet members, senior officers, parents and pupils, just one short 4 hour period when they can "drop in", complete a questionnaire and hand it to a junior member of the County Hall staff.
