As of 5 PM EST, 6/23/2016, our petition reached 1000 signatures! The original meaning of "mile" is found in the ancient Roman Army march of 1000 paces. Soldiers were given a short rest at the end of 3000 paces or at the end of 3 miles. Literally, we have reached a milestone in collecting 1000 signatures. Bringing our petition to its conclusion is being processed. Hillary Clinton's campaign and Bernie Sanders' campaign have been apprised as to its content. Our request for their actions and our reasons for our requests have been communicated. Press releases have been sent to the Vermont Digger, Burlington Free Press and Seven Days.
