Tonight Yakima's City Council chose to honor its relationship with the humane society, and its constituents, by voting 5 to 2 to repeal its 31-year pit bull ban. Moving forward, Yakima's dogs will not be judged by their breed or appearance, allowing dogs and their families to live without fear in our city.
