This holiday weekend, we are extremely grateful to you, and to everyone fighting on behalf of animals in Clermont County. We're thankful for the dedicated staff of Clermont Animal CARE Humane Society. Staff like Animal Care Specialist Trisha Spence, who bravely spoke about what fair funding means for the animals, as well how it impacts the staff who bear the burden of the county's underfunding of the shelter budget, through low wages, no benefits and minimal staffing. 

We are hopeful that the Commissioners will do the right thing and responsibly fund the shelter so that the staff who love and care for our county's animals are treated with respect and dignity, earning a fair, living wage, and they can continue providing excellent care for lost and homeless animals.
