In less than 60 days, on October 1, 2023, Ross will have served 10 full years in prison and will begin his 11th year. Many have publicly spoken about him and his case, including the alleged murder-for-hire victim. They believe he deserves a second chance at life. The average prison sentence all the other defendants related to Ross's case received is six years, including the actual drug sellers, the men who helped run Silk Road, and the men behind Silk Road 2.0, a larger replica. Nearly all of them are free today.
