After months of investigation, the lead detective confirmed that J. Cowans did not rob the home. Yet, his name is still tied to a false burglary report that prevents him from receiving medical and disability support services he urgently needs.

This misinformation not only jeopardizes his recovery but also leaves the shooter unaccountable for nearly taking a child’s life under false pretenses.
