Civil Rights for Software Industry Workers

The Issue

As a developer, I have seen, the industry mistreats software developers via overtime, and unrealistic demands, unlike many other jobs a software engineer's job requires 100% focus 100% of the time, one can't be productive 8hrs, 5 days a week, the companies usually consider software developers as something to sell.

- My proposal is that we cut the working hours for software developers from 40hr to 32hr a week.
- Define the ethics for the software industry in UN which is quite young as compared to others.

I have seen civil rights movements of civil engineers, factory workers, government employees, but not a single movement for software developer rights.
