Attached is the Winnipeg Free Press article about our movement! We have also included a login and password to the Free Press website for those of you who do not have an account. SLAM students have also now begun a school-wide survey to gauge support from students and we hope to expand the survey to several other schools in the coming weeks. The data we acquire, along with the petition will all be a part of when we present to city council in the near future! In addition, we will be presenting to several schools in the next few weeks about our petition as well as other activities that have taken place in SLAM. We have now received some excellent media coverage and look forward to presenting our work to the city and doing everything in our power to help make Winnipeg one of the faces of the global movement to a sustainable future.
